Textron Aviation Adds Air Conditioning to New Production King Air 360
Textron Aviation recently announced that an electrically driven air conditioning system will soon be a standard feature on all new production Beechcraft King Air 360 aircraft. This new feature provides cooled air throughout the cabin while the aircraft is on the ground and in flight, enhancing passenger and crew comfort. Deliveries with the new air conditioning system are expected to begin in the coming months.
The new electric air conditioning system is built into the structure of the aircraft, and it does not impact any cabin space. It can operate without the aircraft engines running by plugging into a ground power unit (GPU). The system offers an environmentally friendly solution by cooling the cabin without the use of the aircraft engines.
PWI Entry Door LED Light for Beechcraft King Air Receives PMA Approval
PWI has received Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) production approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its LED Entry Door Light for Beechcraft King Air 200, B200/250, 300, B300/350 models*. When the passenger cabin door is lowered,
this LED light illuminates the ground below the door. Mounted between the engine and the fuselage under the pilot side wing, this LED provides passengers with a well-lit entry to the aircraft.
The Entry Door LED light replaces incandescent bulb products and features the correct socket for a true plug- and-play direct replacement installation, without aircraft mods.
Advantages of using LED lights include: = 100,000-hour lifetime
= Less power draw
= Brighter than incandescent bulbs
= Direct drop-in installation
