MT-Propeller Receives STC for King Air
300/350 with MTOW up to 17,636 Lbs.
MT-Propeller Entwicklung GmbH has received approval of their revised FAA STC for installing the Quiet Fan Jet 5-blade Propeller on the Beechcraft King Air 300/350 series aircraft powered by P&WC PT6A- 60A/-67A engines – now also for the King Air 300/350 with a MTOW up to 17,636 lbs. This installation is also EASA certified.
According to the company, the installation of the 5-blade MT-Propeller on the Beechcraft King Air 300/350 Series:
= provides best vibration damping characteristics for almost vibration-free propeller operation
= has bonded nickel alloy leading edges for superior erosion protection of the blades
= provides a general performance improvement (8% takeoff and climb, 4-5 knots cruise)
= has no propeller speed restrictions on ground while operating in low idle
= has more ground clearance for less FODs
= has lower ITTs during startup for less engine wear
= provides significant cabin noise and vibration reduction
= has esthetic ramp appeal
= has no life limitation
= has FOD repairable blades
= has the longest industry TBO of 4,500 hours/6
years
All models comply with the strict German noise regulations 2010 – “Landeplatz Lärmschutz Verordnung” for unrestricted airport operation in Germany and other European countries.

Spring City Aviation of Wisconsin Named as New Authorized Dealer for Raisbeck
Raisbeck Engineering announced the addition of Spring City Aviation (SCA) to its worldwide network of authorized dealers. Headquartered at Waukesha County Airport (KUES) in Waukesha, Wisconsin, SCA has nearly three decades of experience in the aviation industry.
Founded in 1996 and employing 50 employees at three southeastern Wisconsin locations; Waukesha, Burlington and Milwaukee, Spring City Aviation specializes in aircraft maintenance for general aviation aircraft, FBO services, aircraft sales, aircraft management and flight training.
